Dr. Parisa Memarmoshrefi is an Instructor and Researcher at the University of Göttingen. Her work focuses on bio-inspired network security, with a particular interest in security mechanisms for scalable, distributed, and self-organizing wireless communication systems, including vehicular networks, wireless ad-hoc networks, and sensor networks. She actively explores bio-inspired approaches to enhance system security and investigates areas such as authentication, identity management, and soft security mechanisms, including trust-based systems.
In addition to her core research, Dr. Memarmoshrefi is deeply engaged in the intersection of AI ethics and network security. She examines the implications of AI-driven solutions on security mechanisms, regulatory frameworks, and ethical challenges in emerging technologies. Her work includes addressing the responsible deployment of AI in security systems while ensuring adherence to evolving regulations that protect privacy, fairness, and transparency.

I am a Research and Teaching Assistant at the University of Göttingen, where I also serve as the developer and administrator of our research group’s website. Alongside my academic responsibilities, I am currently pursuing a Master of Science in Applied Computer Science at the University of Göttingen.
My research interests focus on Artificial Intelligence, especially Machine Learning (ML) and Deep Learning (DL), as well as High-Performance Computing (HPC) and I/O optimization for data-intensive applications. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering from the University of Petra, where I graduated top of my class.
